What happens after you contact us

At the start of the assessment process our Therapy Team Leader will hold a 15-minute telephone consultation with you. This is totally free and completely confidential.

Once the Team Leader understands your requirements, they can arrange for a full assessment to be carried out by one of our physiotherapists, who will visit the client at their home or residence. There they can observe the activities that are causing difficulty and identify the exact parts of the process that need to be addressed. A written report of their findings and a proposed programme for treatment will follow.

The therapists suggested programme may including a combination of rehabilitation, maintenance, and therapeutic approaches; to make sure that all requirements, from improved pain management to restoration and maintenance of movement, activity or function are addressed.

This can involve the recommendation of specialist equipment, mobility aids, splints and supports, alternative handling techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise/stretches and hydrotherapy.

All of our personalised programmes support the client in managing their own condition and independence and will prevent future episodes of ill health and disability over the long term. Our programmes also support carers by reducing any moving and handling strain and providing additional training where necessary.
