Incredibly versatile, this mattress has an integrated foam base, meaning the active cells can be utilised as required. The patient remains on a pressure-relieving surface even when the active mechanism is turned off. This also provides protection for any instances of power failure to the home where the alternating system may not function.
The mattress is fitted with a vapour permeable four-way stretch cover, which can be machine laundered and has a crib-5 fire rating.
