The microbeads also distribute weight evenly under pressure for maximum comfort and appropriate resistance if squeezed. This is especially helpful for those who may be doing gentle hand exercises or finger bending. For example, those recovering from a stroke or suffering with arthritis.

Secondly, it’s a palm protector. The soft beaded pad stops the hands and fingers closing into the palms, and prevents the nails digging into the skin.
