Highly Adjustable For Individual Care
Like all the chairs in the Lento range, the 40 stone bariatric chair boasts top levels of easy adjustability without the need for any tools or training. The seat width, depth and height can all be adjusted to enable each user’s body shape and size to be considered when optimising their position in the chair.

The optional four-motor action also allows:

• Tilt-in-space, for assisted circulation, reduced load on pressure points, and enhanced comfort.
• Backrest recline, to enable users to lie back in comfort and have a nap.
• Vertical rise and forward tilt to help the user reposition as needed and rise to a standing position.
• Removable Arms, for easier and safer side transfers.

You can also flip the top backrest cushion to give an additional 4” in head height.

Infection Control Friendly
The magnetised cushions (no velcro) can be removed to give a flat wipeable surface for very easy cleaning, which is important in multi-user care environments such as hospitals and care homes. On top of this, the strong yet comfortable materials can withstand rigorous and regular cleaning with all standard detergents, and the cushion covers can be removed for machine washing.

Pressure Care Management
Heavier users require more considered pressure care, as their pressure points have larger loads, and they tend to be in a sitting position for long periods of time. This makes them “High Risk” for developing pressure ulcers.

That’s why we have upholstered our backrest cushions in the soft four-way stretch Dartex fabric and made the seat cushions to have in-built cool gel in the wrap as standard.

Complete Postural Support
The Lento bariatric rise and recline chairs have been designed to enable 24-hour postural support for heavier people. You can choose from multiple backrest options (waterfall, lateral or cocoon), as well as many other accessories and wedges for correct positioning.

The single or dual motor action also allows tilt-in-space, backrest recline, vertical rise, and forward tilt to help the user reposition and rise to a standing position.
